Mikami Vs L :)

My entry for 's 'Team L vs Team Light' contest: [link] I chose Mikami, who's on Lights's team, and my opponent chose L.

Mikami straightened his tie, ready to go report back to Light when his phone buzzed, signaling a new message. He looked down at it, and narrowed his eyes when he realized he didn't recognize the number. "Who could this be...?" He mumbled.

He opened the message, and read it. It said, 'Hello, Mikami. You may not know me, but I have a favor to ask of you. I entered in this contest, and volunteered you to be my puppet subject. I need you to do something mean to L. Do you accept this mission? -Topaz Banana'

He felt his eye twitch. Then, he let an evil smile creep onto is face. This gave him the chance to get a glance at L, so he could finally kill him. If he could accomplish that, then God would surely be proud.

He replied with a, 'I accept this mission.' and tucked his phone back in his pocket.

Ever since he accepted this mission, he's been anxious to meet L. To study him, see how he ticks. Luckily, that was part of the mission. This 'Topaz Banana' instructed him to keep an eye on L, and to study his strength and weaknesses. Obviously, this would be a really hard task, seeing that no one can ever see L's face. All he knew was that the guy was extremely secretive, and that he always sent agents off on 'errands'. He observed what he often had them buy, and he discovered it almost always had something to do with sugary treats. This got him thinking, of course. 'L has a... sugar tooth?'

Mikami was ready. He thought through all of the possible outcomes, and decided he was going to use L's obsession against him. He studies the security system of L's headquarters. Unsurprisingly, it was airtight. Practically impossible to get past, if he were anyone but himself. He would have to be really sneaky, but he could pull it off. He disguised himself as Matsuda, a derpy agent working on the Kira Case, and put a hat on to disguise his face from the cameras. He made it past the security guards with ease, them all preoccupied with something else. Idiots, they were. Seems like the security isn't as tight as he thought.
He made it up to the room he suspected L to be in, and walked in slowly. He remembered that Topaz Banana said to be careful. The first thing he noticed was the tall lanky form hunched over a computer desk and a plate of ... sugar cubes? He seemed to be staking them. He walked up to the plate, and snatched the last sugar cube, which L was going to use to finish his pyramid. L finally looked up at him.

"Matsu-?!" His eyes widened as he finally realized that this wasn't Matsuda.

"L. It's a pleasure to finally meet you..." Mikami trailed off, his eyes glowing red at the small, innocent sweet cube. He snatched off the wig, and took out a match. L's eyes widened even more, and his hand reached for the emergency button to his left.

"Press that button, and the last sugar cube gets it." Mikami said, sneering. L's movement froze.

"You wouldn't dare..." L said, uncertainty and fear clear in his voice.

"Oh, I wouldn't?" Mikami said, evil smirk in place. He struck the match, and held it dangerously close to the sugar cube. "Try me."

L's eyes watered. "Okay! Okay! Take me instead! Just don't hurt the sugar cube!"

"Oh, I'm afraid I can't do that. I received special orders to find your weakness, and use it against you." He laughed maniacally, and let the flame engulf the sugar cube.

"NOOOO!!!!" L screamed, and fainted.

Mikami dropped the burned match and the cube and walked out the room. He put his wig back on, and discreetly left the building. He was half a block away when he realized he forgot to pay attention to L's real name. He froze.

"DARNIT!"

Okay what do you think? Lol, I just felt like explaining the scene here, if anyone was confused.
